Naari Shakti is a women-led collective based in Okhla Basti, Delhi. Through craft, especially macramé and handmade accessories, women come together to learn skills, earn an income, and build confidence and independence.

What kind of products do you make?
We create handcrafted bracelets, necklaces, bag charms, tassels, napkin rings, and custom accessories in collaboration with designers and brands.
Are your products eco-friendly?
We strive to create thoughtfully made products and minimize waste wherever possible. Many of our pieces are handcrafted in small batches with care and attention.

Are your artisans trained beforehand?
Most of our artisans join without any prior training. We provide hands-on learning, from craft techniques to financial literacy and teamwork.
How many women are part of Naari Shakti?
Naari Shakti currently includes 18 women from the Okhla Basti community. Of these, 8 are actively earning through production work, while 10 are in training, building the skills and confidence needed to begin their own income journey.
Can I visit the space or volunteer in person?
Yes. We welcome visitors, collaborators, and volunteers who are respectful of the space and the women. If you’re interested in visiting our Okhla Basti center, observing the work, or volunteering your time and skills, please contact us in advance to schedule your visit.

Do you take part in exhibitions or melas?
Yes — we proudly participate in fairs, pop-ups, and exhibitions such as the AWA Mela, where our artisans present and sell their work.
