Naari Shakti is a non-profit initiative based in Okhla Basti, Delhi, created with a simple belief: every woman deserves the opportunity to learn, earn, and grow with dignity.

Many of the women who joined Naari Shakti had never worked outside their homes. They were mothers, caregivers, and homemakers from the community, with little or no previous experience in craft or business. We brought in skilled artisans to teach them macramé and other techniques, transforming curiosity into confidence and skill into livelihood.

What began with affirmation bracelets has evolved into a platform where women create handcrafted products for individuals, schools, weddings, and corporate clients. Along the way, many have taken on responsibilities beyond craft. They now help manage inventory, production, quality control, record keeping, and order fulfillment, shipping products directly to customers and learning the foundations of entrepreneurship.

At Naari Shakti, we believe empowerment is not just about earning an income. It is about building confidence, developing skills, and creating opportunities for women to discover their own potential.

Our vision extends beyond one neighborhood. As the women continue to grow in confidence and capability, we hope they will become trainers and mentors themselves, helping bring these skills and opportunities to other underserved communities and partnering with like-minded organizations to create a wider network of women supporting women.

At its heart, Naari Shakti is about dignity, self-reliance, and shared growth. Every product carries not only the skill and care of its maker, but also the belief that when one woman rises, she helps others rise with her.
